We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing account analysis, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of financial concepts to support our organization's financial health.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts based on historical data.
  • Utilize accounting software, such as Quicken, for efficient bookkeeping processes.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to accounting practices.
  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information as required.

Experience

Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, with a strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping principles.

Familiarity with technical accounting concepts and general ledger accounting practices is essential.

Proficiency in accounting software; experience with Quicken is a plus.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are required for maintaining accurate records.
