About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled TechOps Specialist to join our team and play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing our web presence. You will be responsible for the smooth operation, security, and performance of our WordPress website, along with other web properties. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in WordPress, web maintenance, and a commitment to ensuring a seamless user experience.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain all aspects of our WordPress website, including theme customization, plugin configuration, and content updates.
Perform regular website backups and ensure data security protocols are in place.
Monitor website performance and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
Implement website optimization strategies to enhance speed, loading times, and user experience.
Stay updated on the latest WordPress security updates and best practices.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand website needs and implement solutions.
Assist with the creation and maintenance of other web pages, potentially using content management systems beyond WordPress.
Document technical processes and procedures for future reference.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in a technical operations or web development role.
Proven experience working with WordPress, including theme customization and plugin management.
Strong understanding of website maintenance best practices, including security, backups, and performance optimization.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript is a plus.
