Motion Graphic Designer Location: Mumbai (On-site) Experience: 0.5 to 1.5 years Employment Type: Full-time Salary: INR 25-29k CTC per month About the Role: Optiminastic is a tech-driven digital marketing partner to 400+ brands, delivering strategy, creative, growth marketing, and analytics across India, the UK, and Singapore. We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Motion Graphic Designer to join our design and marketing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in creating visually engaging animations, graphics, and video content that bring ideas to life across digital platforms. This role is perfect for someone early in their career who is eager to grow, experiment, and refine their craft in motion design. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with creative leads, designers, and marketers to develop motion concepts that align with brand and campaign objectives. Brainstorm and contribute fresh, innovative ideas for visual storytelling. Design and animate motion graphics, explainer videos, and promotional content. Work on 2 D animations, typography-based graphics, and basic visual effects. Adapt static designs into dynamic formats for social media, websites, and presentations. Edit raw video footage, add motion graphics, and optimize content for multiple formats and platforms. Enhance videos with sound design, transitions, and effects while maintaining brand consistency. Ensure all motion assets adhere to brand guidelines. Maintain a consistent visual language across different media channels. Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, design, tech) to understand project requirements. Incorporate feedback quickly and effectively while maintaining creative quality. Qualifications & Skills: 0.5–1.5 years of relevant professional or internship experience in motion design, animation, or video editing. Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and/or Photoshop. Understanding of key motion principles: timing, easing, composition, and storytelling. Strong sense of design aesthetics, typography, and color theory. Ability to conceptualize and translate ideas into engaging visuals. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail with good time management skills. Good-to-Have: Experience in creating motion graphics for social media campaigns (Instagram reels, You Tube shorts, Tik Tok, etc.). Basic knowledge of sound design and music synchronization. Portfolio showcasing a range of motion design projects (academic, freelance, or professional). Familiarity with Cinema 4 D/Blender (basic knowledge is a plus). Preferred Degree/Diploma in Animation, Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field. Knowledge about latest AI editing tools.
