condition of employment requires knowledge and conformance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) as applicable to the position Provide clear expectations to all manufacturing personnel while holding them accountable for achieving established goals Serve as safety model Promote a high level of safety awareness and continuous improvement in safety practices Responsible for managing budgeted line items related to the department Assist executive team in setting and monitoring production performance targets both short and long term Maintain appropriate records and complete necessary reports in a timely manner Network with Production Planner to ensure customer ship dates are achieved Implement best practices required to ensure efficient production flow and to help design a future state production line to increase capacity Lead productivity improvement teams to recommend, develop, and implement measures to improve productivity and maximize efficiency Organize and improve material storage and flow to eliminate losses and improve efficiencies Complete other duties and tasks as assigned
