We are looking for a Senior Software Developer who can own end-to-end delivery, write high-quality code fast (using AI tools effectively), and help raise the technical bar for the team. Role OverviewAs a Senior Software Developer at Hodos 360, you will: Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable software systems. Use AI tools to significantly increase coding speed and code quality. Collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineers across time zones. Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices. This is a full-time, work-from-office role in Bangalore , aligned to a 5 PM – 2 AM IST shift to support international stakeholders. Key ResponsibilitiesTranslate business requirements into well-architected, production-quality solutions. Design and implement robust APIs, services, and/or front-end features (depending on your expertise). Use AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, OpenAi Codex, Gemini 3 etc.) to: Accelerate development, Reduce repetitive work, Improve test coverage and refactoring speed. Review and improve code written by peers; enforce coding standards and design guidelines. Own features end-to-end: design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and support. Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions. Write automated tests and ensure high reliability, performance, and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps, Data/AI teams) to deliver releases on time. Proactively identify technical debt and propose pragmatic solutions. Mentor and guide junior/mid-level engineers, sharing best practices and patterns. Required Skills & Experience3–8 years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer / Developer. Strong expertise in at least one modern backend or full-stack stack, for example: Backend: Java, C#, Node.js, Python, or Go Frontend: React, Angular, or similar modern framework Solid understanding of: Object-oriented and/or functional programming principles Data structures, algorithms, and system design fundamentals RESTful APIs, microservices, or service-oriented architectures Practical experience with AI-assisted development , including: Using AI tools to write, refactor, and document code Prompting AI effectively to generate tests, scripts, and boilerplate Hands-on experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices (Git, automated builds, deployments). Experience working on production systems with logging, monitoring, and incident handling. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills and comfort working on a US/overseas-aligned shift (5 PM – 2 AM IST) . Ability to work from our Bangalore office full-time. Good-to-HaveExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Exposure to event-driven architectures, message queues, or streaming (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ). Experience in AI/ML, MLOps, or data-intensive applications. Prior experience mentoring teams or acting as a tech lead on specific modules. Experience in high-growth startups or fast-paced product environments.
