MAC Specialist

MAC (Apple Devices) Support Technician provides day-to-day desktop support, receives inbound calls, answer questions, troubleshoots and document steps performed to resolve challenges with hardware, software and application issues in a ticketing system.
Daily Job responsibilities :
1st , 2nd and 3rd line support of Mac’s
Imaging/reimaging and deployment of Mac hardware.
Server administration of JAMF Server
Maintain Casper and create images of OS and packages as needed.
Must have skills:
MAC Hardware troubleshooting experience.
Imaging/reimaging knowledge for MAC devices.
Experience/knowledge on JAMF to create images of OS and packages as needed
Experience/knowledge on Server administration of JAMF Server
Application troubleshooting experience/knowledge on MAC devices
New hardware compatibility and testing
Experience/knowledge on MAC devices/environment to provide support towards : File Server
access/troubleshooting , Print Queue management, Mobile device management, New hardware
compatibility and testing.
Remote support capabilities to support MAC devices across globe
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related area) with 3+ yrs of experience on MAC
support.
Relevant certification/s on MAC
Microsoft Certification (MCSE) or ITIL certification preferred, equivalent certification in relevant
Good Verbal and Written communication skills
Working knowledge of Desktop Operating Systems like Windows 7 / 8.1 /10
Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN networking and TCP/IP ports HTTP , HTTPS and file sharing
