Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium, Java, and Rest Assured. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of software QA methodologies and hands-on experience in building robust test automation frameworks. Experience with Kubernetes and cloud technologies is a strong advantage. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through comprehensive test planning and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Java.

Create and maintain REST API test scripts using Rest Assured.

Write and maintain clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and API testing.

Manage test code using GIT and integrate it within CI/CD pipelines.

Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Apply best practices in automation, ensuring test scalability and maintainability.

Stay current with evolving tools, technologies, and testing trends.

Contribute to performance and security testing initiatives as needed.

Must-Have Skills:

Strong experience in Automation Testing.

Proficiency in Java programming for test automation.

Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.

Experience with Rest Assured for API testing.

Familiarity with GIT for source code management.

Good understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred/Good-to-Have:

Working knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments.

Experience with Cloud Platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Exposure to performance testing or security testing tools.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
