Job Description :


- Databricks ML Ops Engineers (Admin) for the leaders in analytics and cloud applications, headquartered in San Francisco and with offices in India.

Our client provides strategic guidance and technology systems for clients wishing to solve their most complex and interesting business challenges involving cloud applications, big data, business intelligence, and data discovery.


They work with both corporate technology departments and corporate business units to develop value-added decision support solutions, not just new technology deployments.

Job Description :

- Databricks Platform with Unity Catalog Administrator

Responsibilities :

- Manage and administer the Databricks platform, including the Unity Catalog, to support data engineering and data science workflows.

- Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to understand their requirements and configure the Databricks platform accordingly.

- Create and manage workspaces, clusters, and jobs in the Databricks environment.

- Implement security measures and access controls to ensure data privacy and protection within the Databricks platform.

- Configure and optimize Databricks clusters for efficient and scalable data processing and analytics.

- Monitor the performance and health of the Databricks platform and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

- Setup Databricks MLOps

- Work with the Unity Catalog to organize, discover, and govern data assets within the Databricks platform.

- Define and enforce data governance policies and practices within the Unity Catalog.

- Collaborate with data architects and data stewards to ensure data quality and consistency within the Unity Catalog.

- Provide support and training to users of the Databricks platform and the Unity Catalog.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest features and best practices of Databricks and the Unity Catalog and make recommendations for their adoption.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Databricks administrator or similar role.

- Strong knowledge of the Databricks platform and its components, including workspaces, clusters, and jobs.

- Experience in configuring and optimizing Databricks clusters for big data processing.

- Familiarity with security measures and access controls within the Databricks platform.

- Understanding of data governance principles and experience with data cataloging tools like Unity Catalog.

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Experience with programming languages commonly used in data engineering and data science, such as Python, Scala, or SQL.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

- Knowledge of data engineering and data science concepts and workflows.

- Experience with version control systems like Git is a plus.

- Relevant certifications in Databricks or related technologies are a plus.
