Job Title:Healthcare Data Analyst (Offshore/Onshore)Location:Remote (1–2 days onsite per month, any location)Work Hours:11:00 AM – 9:00 PMExperience Required:5+ Years (Healthcare Domain Must)Employment Type:Full-timeAbout the Role:We are seeking an experiencedHealthcare Data Analystwith a strong background inhealthcare data systems, modeling, and profiling . The candidate will work closely with data modelers, architects, and business stakeholders to design and optimizedata models aligned with IBM UDMH , while ensuring high-quality healthcare data integration from systems likeEpic, Cerner, Athena, and Oracle FDI .Key Responsibilities:Data Modeling & DesignCollaborate with data modelers to buildconceptual, logical, and physical data modelsin line withIBM UDMH .Extend IBM UDMH models to meetAscension’s custom requirements .Developsource-to-target mapping documentsand maintaindata lineage documentation .Data Analysis & ProfilingConductdata profilingacross multiple healthcare systems ( Epic, Cerner, Athena, Oracle FDI ).Assessdata quality, granularity, volume, and frequencyto support business use cases.Collaboration & GovernancePartner with cross-functional teams togather requirementsand define subject-area models.Ensure compliance withdata modeling standards, naming conventions, and governance protocols .Document metadata to supportdata governance frameworks .Tools & TechnologiesUseER/Studio, ERwin, PowerDesignerfor data modeling.ApplySQL, Python, and Unix scriptingfor ETL and data transformations.Work withSnowflake, Hadoop, Spark , and cloud platforms ( AWS, Azure ).Required Skills & Experience:5+ years of experienceas a Data Analyst in theHealthcare domain(mandatory).Strong expertise indata modeling and profilingwithin healthcare ecosystems.Proficiency inSQL, Python, and Unix scriptingfor data analysis and ETL.Hands-on experience withER/Studio, ERwin, or PowerDesigner .Familiarity withcloud platforms (AWS, Azure)andbig data technologies(Hadoop, Spark).Strong communication skills to collaborate with onshore/offshore stakeholders.Nice to Have:Prior experience withIBM UDMH (Unified Data Model for Healthcare) .Exposure todata governance frameworksand metadata management.Knowledge ofreporting/BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) .
