The Team

Deloitte delivers deep knowledge of tax and statutory requirements as well as a breadth of experience applying them in practice worldwide. Practical tax advice combined with our consistent tax compliance framework instils confidence that a consistent approach is followed across jurisdictions. We help simplify tax management and oversight while providing global visibility for making informed strategic decisions ― all with the ease of working with a global provider

Work you’ll do

As a Deputy Manager in our Tax team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. You will:

Review the work of Assistant Managers, Executives

Corporate Tax compliance services:

-Assist in preparing and filing corporate income tax return

-Assist in computing monthly withholding tax liability, preparation and filing of quarterly withholding tax statements

-Assist in preparing lower withholding tax application

Corporate Tax advisory services:

-Judicial analysis

-Analysis withholding tax implications arising out of the proposed transactions -Contract review from a direct tax perspective

Corporate tax litigation

-Assist in preparing objections to be filed with DRP, appeal before the CIT(A) and proceedings

-Assist in preparing appeal to be filed before ITAT and proceedings

-Assist in preparing application to be filed before authority of advance ruling

-Assist in preparing submissions for penalty proceedings, stay proceedings and TDS prosecution proceedings

-Assist in appearing before tax officer during assessment and re-assessment proceedings

Qualifications

CA-3-5 year Experience in Direct Taxation Strong Technical Knowledge Leadership Qualities Effective communication and presentation skills People’s person Persistent and persuasive
