About Us

Dawnbreak AI is a stealth-mode startup bringing automation to critical aspects of homecare fulfilment. We are solving one of healthcare's most operationally complex and high-impact problems by building from first principles.

We're looking for a Head of AI to lead our efforts in generative AI, LLMOps, and applied machine learning — driving research into production and creating systems that transform how homecare is delivered.

What You'll Do

  • AI/GenAI Development: Design, fine-tune, and deploy AI/GenAI models to automate and enhance homecare workflows.
  • LLMOps Ownership: Build and manage pipelines for training, inference, monitoring, and scaling large language models in production.
  • Multimodal AI: Integrate speech, text, image, and structured data for care plan generation, adherence tracking, and decision support.
  • Experimentation & Research: Rapidly prototype and evaluate new approaches in GenAI and automation, translating promising methods into production.
  • Systems Thinking: Collaborate with product and engineering to ensure AI solutions are practical, compliant, and scalable.
  • Compliance & Ethics: Implement guardrails for patient data privacy, bias mitigation, and healthcare regulations (HIPAA, DPDP).

What We're Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience in applied AI/ML, with a strong focus on GenAI, LLMOps, or large-scale NLP systems.
  • Proven expertise in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, LangChain or equivalent orchestration frameworks, and cloud-native infrastructure (GCP/AWS).
  • Track record of deploying AI systems into production at scale.
  • Strong grasp of data pipelines, evaluation frameworks, and monitoring AI systems in real-world use.
  • Bonus: Experience with speech models (ASR), multimodal embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or healthcare AI.
  • Hands-on, execution-oriented, and motivated to solve messy real-world problems.
