Role Overview We are looking for a dynamic, strategic, and hands-on marketing leader to head our marketing function and take it to the next level of growth. As AVP – Marketing , you will own brand building, growth strategy, customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. You will lead a growing team while collaborating across functions to position Sova Health as the category-defining leader in microbiome and personalized health. This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, creative storytelling, and executional excellence. The right candidate will bring performance-driven growth expertise alongside brand-building capability in a fast-paced consumer healthtech environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Marketing Strategy & Leadership Define, lead, and execute Sova Health’s integrated marketing strategy in alignment with business goals. Build and scale the marketing function across brand, digital, performance, and content. Mentor and manage a high-performing marketing team and external partners. Collaborate with leadership to shape long-term brand positioning and growth roadmap. 2. Brand & Communication Position Sova Health as a pioneer in microbiome health and personalized care. Build market credibility through PR, media, awards, partnerships, and customer advocacy. Craft compelling messaging, customer case studies, and thought leadership assets. Ensure consistency in brand voice, storytelling, and visual identity across all touchpoints. 3. Growth & Performance Marketing Own customer acquisition, retention, and engagement KPIs. Plan and optimize campaigns across SEO, SEM, paid media, social, influencer, and email. Leverage analytics to track ROI and continuously improve marketing efficiency. Design experiments to drive conversions, repeat usage, and referrals. 4. Content & Thought Leadership Lead content strategy for awareness, education, and engagement. Transform customer insights, research, and clinical expertise into blogs, videos, webinars, and whitepapers. Build community engagement through social media and offline health events. 5. Market Insights & Analytics Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and audience analysis to identify growth opportunities. Track, analyze, and report performance metrics to leadership. Use data-driven insights to refine strategy and execution. 6. Budget & P&L Ownership Own the marketing budget with clear accountability for spend vs. outcomes. Drive cost-efficient growth with measurable business impact. Requirements 5–9 years of progressive marketing experience, including 4+ years in a senior leadership role. Proven track record in B2C, consumer healthtech/fitness, or high-growth consumer brands. Strong expertise in both performance marketing and brand building. Experience leading multi-functional marketing teams and external agencies. Exceptional storytelling, communication, and design sensibility.
