Job Title - Design EngineerLocation: Pune (On-Campus)Work Mode - OnsiteStart Date: 1 December 2025Roles & Responsibilities- Create detailed drawings, assembly drawings, and 3D models using Solid Edge.- Revise and update existing models and drawings as required.- Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes to implement new designs using cost-effective and efficient methods.- Maintain an organized database of drawings and transmitted documents.- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify root causes and resolve component or product issues.- Create or update Bills of Materials (BoM) for new and existing products.- Select and apply appropriate materials, finishes, and weld procedures to designs.- Coordinate with Project Management and Supply Chain teams to provide updates and clarifications.Required Experience and Technical Skills- Strong experience and knowledge of Solid Edge for creating CAD Part, Assembly, and Draft files.- Sound knowledge of Teamcenter.- Ability to acquire and utilize technical data from catalogs, the internet, and vendors for model and drawing creation.- Proficiency in generating BoMs and maintaining organized data/relationships for models and drawing files.- Good knowledge of stack-up and dimensional analysis (GD&T).Qualifications- Engineering Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or related streams.- Work Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience.Ideal Attributes- Constant learner with the ability to quickly become a Subject Matter Expert.- Proven track record of working in a high-paced, innovative start-up environment.
