About the Role
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and optimize high-quality data pipelines using BODS, Informatica IICS, SQL, and Oracle. You will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making across regulatory, finance, risk, and customer domains by building robust data solutions.
Experience Required: 2 Years to 8 years
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain complex ETL workflows and ingestion pipelines.
- Design DDLs and implement data models for enterprise-scale systems.
- Optimize SQL queries, pipelines, and database performance.
- Work collaboratively with Product Owners, Architects, and QA teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Participate in design/code reviews and ensure compliance with best practices.
- Identify and automate inefficient processes, contributing to continuous improvement.
- Provide support for production systems and resolve incidents.
- Document data flows, pipelines, and processes for knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Solid expertise in ETL/Data Integration tools (BODS, Informatica IICS).
- Strong SQL programming and database knowledge (Oracle or similar RDBMS).
- Good knowledge of data modeling (relational/dimensional) and performance tuning.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Snowflake, GCP, Redshift) is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Prior experience in Banking/Financial domain is a plus.
Required Skills
