Job Overview

We are seeking a Heat Treatment Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience in the Metallurgy and Mechanical Engineering field. As a Heat Treatment Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing heat treatment processes in the Foundry & Casting Industry. This is a full-time position located in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, India.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field4 to 6 years of experience in heat treatment processes within the Foundry & Casting IndustryStrong knowledge of material specifications and treatment processesExperience designing heat treatment processesExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work effectively in cross-functional teamsAttention to detail and a commitment to qualityGood communication and interpersonal skills

Roles and Responsibilities

Design and develop heat treatment processes for the Foundry & Casting IndustryPerform metallurgical analysis and material specifications to determine appropriate treatment processesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of heat treatment processesConduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to industry standards and specificationsTroubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the heat treatment processStay up-to-date with advancements in heat treatment technology and industry best practicesJob Responsibilities :Designing heat treatment processes based on material specifications and desired properties.Optimizing existing heat treatment processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Selecting appropriate heat treatment equipment such as furnaces, ovens, and quenching systems.Overseeing the maintenance and calibration of heat treatment equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.Implementing quality control measures to ensure that materials meet specified standards and requirements.Conducting inspections and tests to assess the effectiveness of heat treatment processes.Collaborating with materials engineers and other professionals to select the most suitable materials for specific applications.Analyzing material properties before and after heat treatment to ensure desired outcomes.Staying abreast of advancements in heat treatment technologies and materials science.Participating in research and development activities to improve existing processes or develop new ones.Maintaining detailed records of heat treatment processes, parameters, and outcomes.Generating reports on process performance, quality control, and any deviations from standards.Ensuring that heat treatment processes adhere to safety regulations and industry standards.Implementing safety protocols for the handling of materials and operation of equipment.
