Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise for operations, process optimization, and troubleshooting in the Chlor-Alkali plant (Chlorine, Caustic Soda, Hydrogen).
• Monitor plant performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive initiatives for yield improvement, energy optimization, and cost reduction.
• Support day-to-day operations by guiding shift engineers and ensuring smooth running of electrolyzers, brine purification, chlorine liquefaction, caustic concentration, and utility systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental (SHE) standards during plant operations.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for process deviations, equipment failures, and implement corrective measures.
• Participate in plant turnarounds, debottlenecking, and expansion projects by providing process inputs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (maintenance, projects, quality, R&D) to improve plant reliability and efficiency.
• Drive digital initiatives and automation in process monitoring and optimization.
• Ensure compliance with statutory norms and corporate standards for chlor-alkali operations.
