AutoCAD Draughtsman (ELV Systems-CCTV, PA, ACS, FAS)

We are looking for an AutoCAD Draughtsman to design, draft, and deliver AutoCAD (2D / GA / IGA) drawings and schematics for ELV systems (CCTV, ACS, FAS, PA), working alongside design & project teams, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed AutoCAD drawings and schematics for ELV systems, including CCTV, Access Control Systems (ACS), Fire Alarm System (FAS), and Public Address (PA).
  • Develop GA (General Arrangement) / IGA (Indicative GA) designs for ELV projects.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, and project teams to ensure outputs are accurate, feasible, and delivered within schedule.
  • Ensure all designs and drawings comply with industry standards, statutory / safety regulations, and companys technical & quality requirements.
  • Produce / review material takeoffs, bill of quantities (BOQ) from drawings.
  • Review / revise drawings according to client or site feedback and changes.
  • Assist in site surveys / measurements if required for drawing verification.
  • Maintain document control: drawing revisions, versioning, archives, as-built drawings etc.
  • Provide support during execution phases by drafting & supplying drawings/ sketches as required by the field team.

Qualification & Skills:

  • BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in AutoCAD design for ELV systems (CCTV, ACS, FAS, PA) or similar fields.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & preferably basic 3D) layering, blocks, dimensioning, annotation, etc. Must have knowledge of ELV components and system layouts.
  • Ability to create detailed GA / IGA drawings and schematics.
  • Knowledge of relevant drafting standards, codes, detailing.
  • Attention to detail & accuracy; ability to spot inconsistencies or ambiguities in drawings.
  • Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry practices.
