Key Roles/Responsibilities:

People Management

Perform all elements of the Piramal Performance review cycle for direct reports  Provide coaching, mentoring and on-going talent development  Support and promote Piramal values in actions and team’s work  Accomplish departmental goals by contributing one’s own work in addition to ensuring employee results through: communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, coaching, developing, and partnering with employees Manage Internal IT Team and External consultants to ensure they provide the highest quality of IT services to business and maintain high performance IT culture, responsible for hiring and firing internal and external IT teams

Governance & Compliance

Keep PCC organization audit ready and ensure zero or equivalent audit observations Review and oversee IT teams and their communications plan for all project stakeholders, ensure IT teams are sending regular updates to key stakeholders and business teams  Ensure all appropriate stakeholders have been identified and their requirements and expectations have been documented and managed by the IT team within the scope of the project  Oversee an efficient, effective, and transparent IT governance process that is co-owned by business leaders Ensure weekly / monthly / quarterly Program Status updates are conducted and with relevant stakeholders – as defined in the Governance framework Effectively communicate (both verbal & written) with Senior Management, Business heads Effective Governance / Tools for the Project / Program– incorporating Best Practices like Project Charter Ensure the tools and framework established for effective project execution are followed

IT Operations

Maintain oversight of all IT projects and IT operations, ensuring that commitments are properly planned, staffed, monitored, and reported Define and develop integration and master data strategies for all projects Researching and sourcing rd party vendors, working with procurement to obtain quotes with pricing, assessing capabilities, turnaround times, and quality of work, managing relationships Define and use escalation matrix effectively and assertively to meet the end goals/objective of the program Establish and enforce IT policies, processes, portfolio management, development standards, and methodologies Review, shortlist vendors and managed service agreements for IT services and projects  Responsible for IT budgeting, overseeing budget allocation, controlling spend and presenting variance vs actuals to Executive committee Provide rapid and efficient IT integration and customer connectivity for business transactions ( acquisitions), Work with users to define user requirements, functional requirements and technical specifications and obtain business sign-off of requirements, review proposed design solutions and determine if solution meets business needs

IT Strategy 

Support the formation of digital vision and Information Technology roadmap and work closely with Senior Director and the IT team in effectively execution to achieve IT strategic goals Support Senior Director and leadership by helping identify emerging technologies and digital trends that are most relevant to the company's goals and evolving needs  Balance consideration of new technologies with information resources, human capabilities, operational requirements and as IT Budget Bring in the outside-in perspective, share industry trends and best practices from Pharma industries or similar with business stakeholders Align IT investments to address leading / lagging business performance indicators: contribution to revenue increase, margin improvement, customer satisfaction, and engagement, and strategic transformation
