Company Description MULTI TECH TOOLS (ISO ) started in the year 1995 is one of the reputed tool manufacturers providing a large selection of precise machined components and cutting tools.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a VMC Setter Cum Operator at Multitech Tools located in Thirumudivakkam, Chennai. The VMC Setter Cum Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Vertical Machining Centers (VMC). Duties include understanding technical drawings, selecting and installing tools, verifying machine settings, conducting test runs, and ensuring the quality of machined parts. Additionally, troubleshooting and performing minor maintenance on the machinery will be required. Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and collaborating with other team members to meet production targets is also part of the role.QualificationsExperience with VMC Setup and Operation, Tool Selection, and InstallationProficiency in Reading Technical Drawings and SpecificationsKnowledge of Machine Settings and Parameters, conducting test runs, and verifying qualityAbility to Troubleshoot and Perform Minor Maintenance on VMCUnderstanding of Safety Protocols and ProceduresExcellent teamwork and communication skillsHigh School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plusPrevious experience in a similar role is preferredExperience :Minimum 4 years as VMC Setter .
