JOB DESCRIPTION (JD)

Department: Program Management – R&D

Position: GTE / Junior Program Engineer

Purpose of the Role:

The Junior Program Engineer (GTE) will support the Program Management team in planning, coordinating,

and executing technology-driven projects from concept to delivery. The role requires a blend of technical

understanding, commercial acumen, and strong coordination skills to ensure timely and efficient project

execution, particularly in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities & Expectations:

1 Project Planning
• Proactively anticipate project needs, risks, and timelines.


• Assist in developing detailed project plans, including

milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.


• Identify and recommend required skill sets for project teams.

2 Project Coordination –

Vendor Communication


• Serve as a key point of contact for vendor coordination.


• Maintain clear, professional, and timely communication with

vendors.


• Must be fluent in English (verbal and written) with excellent

interpersonal and negotiation skills.

3 Techno-Commercial

Proposal Development


• Prepare compelling technical and commercial proposals.


• Demonstrate enthusiasm for technology and innovation.


• Be creative and solution-oriented in approach.


• Proficient in MS Office suite – advanced skills in PowerPoint

(for presentations), Word (for documentation), and Excel (for

data analysis and costing).

4 General Attributes
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal

supervision.


• Obedient to processes and organizational guidelines.


• Positive attitude, team player, and adaptable to dynamic

project environments.

Educational Qualification:


• Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (or related field).

Preferred Skills & Competencies:


• Basic understanding of electronics systems, R&D processes, and product development lifecycle.


• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Jira, or similar) is a

plus.


• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.


• Ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.

Experience:


• 0–2 years of experience (freshers are encouraged to apply).


• Internship or academic project experience in engineering or program coordination will be an

advantage.
