We currently have an opening for a Director - Data Strategy & Engineering role at our Bangalore COE office.

Key Responsibilities :

Program Management :

- Accountable for overall project and stakeholder management in the delivery stage for half of projects in the Data Strategy & Engineering (DSE) COE.

- Responsible for project timelines to achieve business deadlines, identify tasks to be undertaken and allocate tasks to project group to ensure deadlines are met within the agreed timescale, follow up task achievement and initiate remedial action when necessary.

- Conduct meetings with clients and internal stakeholders to determine project scope, budget, and timelines.

- Oversee and manage the quality of project delivery to ensure client satisfaction by prioritizing and managing client expectations to successful delivery of scope.

- Taking ownership of critical incidents, coordinating with resolution parties, and establishing effective communication between stakeholders for post-incident reviews.

- Guide team in creating strategy and engagement plans to produce project deliverables such as training materials, reference guides, FAQs, stakeholder assessment.

- Pick and drive COE level initiatives (for example: Employee Experience/Engagement) that have wider and lasting impact at an overall org level.

Revenue and Governance :

- Help to deliver on the agreed annual revenue/profit targets.

- Effectively identify, raise, diagnose, and solve for any risks or anomalies that impact the project

- Chairing and running project meetings to assess feasibility of project agree allocated resource and review task progress.

- Developing and implementing company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.

- Determining ways to reduce costs with changing technology without sacrificing customer satisfaction.

Data Engineering and Analytics :

- Define and improve the quality of analytics solutions on a consistent basis.

- Creation of high-quality analyses for all functions of the business and define metrics that track the clients' business's performance at different fronts.

- Enable unified view of customer data across tools and services used by the customer and business.

- Validate, interpret, and create reports and presentations for senior data analytics management, departmental heads/management, and relevant stakeholders.-

Interpreting findings and presenting conclusions to clients in written or verbal format.

Innovation & Business Development :

- Develop business proposals, SOWs and other reports when required.

- Identify business opportunities with existing clients and convert them to projects.

- Proposing solutions and offers to problems using industry best practices and research findings.

- Market these offers/solutions by defining the GTM strategy and raise awareness and understanding internally and externally.

- Publish whitepapers, case studies and represent the DSE COE in webinars & similar activities to drive more organic growth.

- Refining exiting business processes to drive productivity and gain efficiency.

People Management :

- Creating a collaborative, innovative and efficient working culture upholding morale and team performance in challenging circumstances.

- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Identify, groom and promote talent :

- Leading personnel management - including recruitment, performance assessment, training, and mentoring.

- Building strong relationships with stakeholders to enable effective dialogue exchange between functions.

Qualifications :

- 10+ years of delivery and team management experience in the field of Business Analytics, Visualization, Marketing research, Marketing analytics, Data visualization, Data analytics, Data Engineering experience.

- Master's degree in business administration is MUST.

- Preferably from a good business school with Marketing as one of the focus areas.

- Knowledge and practical experience with business intelligence solution development or delivery.

- Working knowledge of data analytics tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau etc.

- Familiarity with Agile Product Management methodologies e.g. SCRUM, SAFe, PSPO is nice to have.

- As a principal consultant, you may be called upon to solve a variety of problems, including those related to project delivery, technology, human resources and finance.

- You can use your problem-solving skills to identify the source of the problem, develop a solution and implement that solution.

Time management :

- Ability to plan and execute tasks within a set time frame.

- As a principal consultant, you may be responsible for multiple projects at once, so it's important to prioritize your work and manage your time effectively.

- This can help you meet deadlines and complete projects on time.

- It can also help you manage the workload of your team members, allowing them to complete their tasks on time.

Networking :

- As a principal consultant, you may need to collaborate with other professionals to complete projects.

- Having strong networking skills can help you find potential clients, collaborate with other professionals and find resources to help you complete your work.

- You can also use networking skills to find mentors who can help you advance in your career.

- Willing to travel onsite as and when required

Salary & Other Details :

- Salary including benefits will be based on prior experience & qualifications and will match industry standards.
