Job Title: Senior Application Development Engineer - DBA

Experience: 5-8 Years

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days

Location: Bangalore

JD:

·Break our existing monolithic applications intomore modern microservices.

·Provide input on our architecture, databases, andAPIs.

·Consult with product managers to define, scope andplan new features.

·Define best in class standards to aid in guidingmicroservices based architectural decisions.

·Unit test and take responsibility for the qualityof your own code.

·Test, evaluate and recommend technologies toimprove our overall solutions.

·Coach, encourage, and mentor your fellow softwaredevelopers.

·Develop and build microservices leveragingAzure/AWS Cloud Services.

·Work with QA to ensure that cohesive, quality,usable solutions are produced.

·Design and implement full stack solutions utilizinga stack.

·Responsible for developing and maintainingweb-based custom applications for the organization.

·Provides technical support for developedapplications.

·Ensures applications are integrated with otherfront-end applications, networks and databases.

·Provides application software development servicesor technical support typically in a defined project.

·Develops program logic for new applications oranalyses and modifies logic in existing applications.

·Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintainssoftware applications.

·Analyses requirements and maintains, tests, and integratesapplication components.

·Ensures that system improvements are successfullyimplemented.

·Has a full understanding of area of specialization;resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.

·Works on problems of diverse scope where analysisof data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.

·Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods andtechniques for obtaining solutions.

·Has in-depth knowledge in own discipline and basicknowledge of related disciplines.

·Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective onexisting solutions.

·Applies a broad range of theories, concepts,principles, and methodologies to assignments involving complex features.

·Networks with senior internal and external personnelin own area of expertise.

·Normally receives little instruction on day-to-daywork, general instructions on new assignments. Works independently.

·May lead projects or project steps within a broaderproject or have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives.

·Acts as a resource for colleagues with lessexperience

Skillsets:

·Experience in digital transformation, transformingfrom Monolithic to Microservice application, Domain Driven Design (DDD) is agreat plus.

·Hands on Experience in technical implementationwith the following technologies, tools or related areas:

·Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience withRDBMS and SQL preferably in MySQL.

·Good Database Administration skills and experiencein Database Replication.

·Distributed caching (REDIS)

·NoSQL (MongoDB)

·Experience in API concepts and technologies such asREST, JSON, XML, SOAP, YAML, GraphQL, and Swagger

·Experience with Azure Services or Amazon WebServices.

·Enterprise Java, Spring, Springboot, SpringCloud orMVC Framework

·Public cloud platform such as Azure, AWS, Google

·UI/UX technologies such as React, Angular, Jquery

·Experience in Tailwinds.

·Jenkins & pipeline (CI/CD), Maven, Nexus

·Cloud-based Kubernetes platform

·API Gateway such as Zuul, Apigee

·Centralized logging platform (ELK)

·End to end tracing

·App Performance Monitoring

·Service Mesh

·GIT (Gitlab / Bitbucket / GitHub)

·Fortify, Blackduck, Sonarqube

·MQ Technology (IBM MQ /Rabbit MQ)

·Kafka

·Servers such as Apache, Tomcat

·Experience in working fast paced dynamic workenvironment

·Experience in triaging live production issues andresolving the issues within SLA leveraging the DevOps ecosystem

·Ability to resolve complex problems with cost effectiveand innovative solutions

·Effective verbal and written communication skills
