Supplier Manufacturing Readiness Engineer

The Supplier Manufacturing Readiness Analyst is crucial in delivering global supplier manufacturing readiness for Tier 1 suppliers from a supply chain logistics perspective and ensuring successful launches at North American plants. This position demands strategic thinking, effective leadership, and the capability to manage multiple launches simultaneously across various plants and suppliers. In addition to launch readiness, the position will also execute the new Q1 / Materials Management Operations Guideline 4th edition supplier compliance process working closely with Supplier Technical Assistance (STA) organization. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering 4+ years of experience in in OEM or Tier1 company, with a preference for the automotive industry Detailed understanding of supply chain operations (supplier release, packaging, logistics, follow-up Functional understanding of overall Material Planning & Logistics business practices and supporting systems. Self-motivator / self-starter with proven ability to coach and teach. Excellent communication skills, ability to lead and participate in cross-functional forums.Strong leadership behaviors, with a systemic process oriented mindset. Represent Ford Motor Company at the supplier’s site Operational experience with CMMS (Common Material Management System) preferred Strong supply chain, supplier performance and/or plant experience preferred Prior manufacturing or plant experience in planning, scheduling or on-floor activities preferred. Specialized Skills – Desired Masters Degree Preferred Strong Data Analytical Skills to gather data from multiple sources to identify root causes, trends & insights and recommend operational improvements on Supplier Delivery Performance Strong story telling capabilities with data to enable data driven decision making benefiting the Organization Knowledge in Data Analytics tools like Alteryx, Qlik Sense, PowerBI Other Information: Working hours will be aligned North American Region time zones. 4.30 PM to 2.00 AM undefined
