Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and versatile Python/Node.js Developer to work on both our backend services and APIs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Python and Node.js, with experience in developing scalable and high-performance applications. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining backend systems and ensuring they integrate seamlessly with our frontend and third-party services.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python and Node.js.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Design and implement data models and databases to support application requirements.
Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications to improve performance and reliability.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually improve our development processes.
Ensure that applications are secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience with Python and Node.js, with a strong portfolio of relevant projects.
Proficiency in web frameworks and libraries, such as Django, Flask, Express.js, or similar.
Experience with database management systems, including SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration.
Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
