R-6 STEM Teacher Position Type Teaching Commence Date 19 Jan 2026 Employment Status Permanent / Ongoing FTE/Hours per week 0.3 Year Levels Primary Role Details We have an exciting opportunity fot a R-6 STEM Teacher, working part-time (0.3FTE), permanent position, commencing at the beginning of the 2026 School year.  We are looking for a passionate and dedicated teacher to join our team. You will have the unique opportunity to inspire young minds, create a warm and nurturing environment, and ignite a lifelong love of learning. You will need to: Actively support and contribute to Catholic Identity and the OLSH charism through our pillars of Inclusivity, Hope, Love, Connectedness and Justice. Create a safe and engaging learning environment which promotes student wellbeing with an emphasis on enabling children to self-regulate and develop personal responsibility. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the STEM curriculum through designing contemporary and motivating learning experiences. Develop inclusive learning programs that meet the specific needs of all learners. Communicate effectively using interpersonal skills that build positive partnerships with students, parents, colleagues, and the broader community. Organise and co-ordinate STEM events and extracurricular activities, e.g. robotics, Lego Club, Tournament of Minds, Kitchen Garden. Demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional learning and be a reflective practitioner. The successful candidate will be required to provide;  SA Teachers Registration; Working with Children Check; Approved Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care; First Aid Certificate; Be willing to undertake Teacher Accreditation in Catholic Education SA training, along with any other compulsory training necessary for the role.
