We are seeking a highly skilled BW/4HANA Developer with a strong background in SAP BW/4HANA, HANA 2.0 SP5+, and HANA modeling techniques. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with CDS View development, Calculation Views, Mixed Modeling, and SQL scripting. Knowledge of streaming data and Open ODS Views is essential. Experience with BW 7.X alone without BW/4HANA will not meet the requirements for this role.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and develop advanced BW/4HANA solutions that integrate with SAP HANA 2.0 SP5+.
  • Implement and optimize CDS Views for efficient data modeling and reporting.
  • Develop complex HANA models including Calculation Views, Attribute Views, and Table Functions.
  • Collaborate with data architects to enable mixed modeling with HANA and BW/4HANA.
  • Design and implement Open ODS Views to integrate data from external sources.
  • Develop and maintain stored procedures and SQL scripts for data transformation.
  • Handle real-time data streaming and ensure its integration into the HANA landscape.
  • Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • BW/4HANA : Strong experience in SAP BW/4HANA. Prior experience with BW 7.X without BW/4HANA experience is not sufficient.
  • HANA 2.0 SP5+ : In-depth experience with HANA 2.0, particularly on SP5 or higher.
  • CDS View Development : Hands-on experience in creating and optimizing CDS Views.
  • HANA Modeling & SQL Scripting : Advanced experience in HANA modeling (including Calculation Views, Attribute Views, and Table Functions) and writing efficient SQL scripts.
  • Mixed Modeling : Experience with mixed modeling techniques combining BW/4HANA and HANA-native objects.
  • Open ODS View : Knowledge of Open ODS View design and integration.
  • Streaming Data : Experience working with real-time or streaming data environments.
  • Additional Skills : Experience with stored procedures, table functions, and performance optimization techniques.

Preferred Skills :

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Education :

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • SAP BW/4HANA certification is a plus.
