Description/Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to join our team in the cosmetics industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, with at least 8 years of experience in the cosmetics/pharma sector. This role involves ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform review of product manufacturing, testing records, certificate of analysis, label claim, etc., for release in ERP
- Performs ongoing relationship management activities such as establishing key performance indicators, building a supplier
scorecard, trending of claims and complaints and maintenance of required documentation.
- Perform Risk assessment and implement risk mitigation plans.
- Participate in new product development, technology transfer assessment, label artwork reviews.
- Knowledge on quality control activities and QC instrumentation
- Follow OOS, CAPA and handling market complaints
- Implement the proper documentation control system.
- Create the SOPs, MFR, BMR, Specification, Validation protocols & reports etc.
- Create procedure and Approve /Reject, Raw material, Packing material, Bulk & Finished product.
- Monitor the Stability study of the product.
- Adhere to GMP practices. Adhere to quality & safety standard operating procedures.
- Identify and Implement Process improvement projects.
- Implement all relevant procedures described in the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised and modified to meet the needs of external certification
bodies.
- Update quality documentation and communicate to carry forward lessons learned from quality concerns.
- Ensure that all necessary systems and procedures are in place to satisfy all customer requirements and audits.
- Introduce new systems and procedures where appropriate.
- Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports
- Develop, implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility
- Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department
- Manage the audit nonconformity data base
- Provide detailed analysis of nonconformities.
- Verify closure of non conformities with Certification Bodies
- Ensure the delivery of the People Strategy within area of accountability
- Manage, coach and develop a high performing Quality System team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice
results, added value and continuous improvements
- Manage and lead the team, ensuring adequate staffing levels

SKILLS:
a. Implement the proper documentation control system.
b. Create the SOPs, MFR, BMR, Specification, APQR, Validation protocols & reports etc.
c. Monitor the Stability study of the product.
d. Having good exposure on ISO & ISO 22716 requirements
e. Software Handling ERP, SAP, JD-Edwards, PLM (Product life cycle Management)
