Job Description :


We are seeking a skilled Website Backup and Migration Specialist to manage website backups, perform site migrations, configure DNS settings, and execute a variety of routine maintenance tasks. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in various web :

WordPress Backup Management :

- Conduct regular backups of WordPress websites using industry-standard tools and plugins

- Ensure that backup schedules are adhered to and backups are stored securely

Website Migration :

- Move websites between environments (live to staging to development) with precision

- Facilitate website transitions from development to staging and from staging to live

- Perform all necessary pre-launch tasks to ensure a smooth transition of staging sites to live

DNS Configuration :

- Configure and manage DNS records, including A records, CNAME records, and others as needed

- Ensure accurate DNS setup to avoid downtime or misconfigurations during migrations

FTP/SFTP/SSH Management :

- Use FTP, SFTP, and SSH protocols to manage files, upload/download content, and perform site maintenance

- Ensure secure access and proper file permissions across all environments

Web Server Panel Backup Management :

- Perform backups via Plesk Panel, cPanel, and other web hosting panels

- Regularly verify that backups are complete and stored securely

Cache Management :

- Clear website caches to resolve issues and improve site performance

- Maintain optimal caching configurations across different environments

Database and File Structure Backup :

- Execute backups of databases and file structures, ensuring their integrity and availability

- Regularly test backups to ensure they can be restored without issues

Virus/Malware Management :

- Identify and manage any virus or malware infections on WordPress sites

- Restore affected sites from clean backups and reinforce security measures to prevent future incidents

Desired Skills :

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in website maintenance, especially with WordPress

- Experience with web hosting panels like Plesk and cPanel is essential

- Proven experience with DNS management and website migrations

- Proficient in WordPress, including backup and migration tools

- Strong understanding of DNS records and their configurations

- Skilled in using FTP, SFTP, and SSH for website management

- Familiar with web hosting environments (Plesk, cPanel) and their backup functionalities

- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently

- 5 days working
