Role Description
The role will eventually lead global sales efforts for the organisation.
Primary Responsibilities:
Drive Platform and Media Sales:
- Effectively promote Strongmetrics' platform and media sales to advertisers, agencies, and e-commerce/app companies.- Develop and implement comprehensive advertising sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Strategic Leadership:
- Provide strategic direction to the sales team to achieve revenue targets.- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Revenue Generation:
- Drive ad sales revenue by identifying new business opportunities and maximizing existing accounts.- Acquire new clients for performance campaigns and lead campaigns.- Conduct market analysis to identify new revenue streams and stay ahead of market changes.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential advertising clients.- Understand client needs and objectives to tailor advertising solutions accordingly.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales proposals.- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands.- Work closely with legal and finance teams to ensure contract compliance.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on campaign objectives.
Negotiation and Finalization:
- Negotiate and finalize advertising deals, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics.- Prepare regular reports for senior management on sales achievements and challenges.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the ad sales budget.- Ensure cost-effective strategies for revenue maximization.
Continuous Improvement:
- Gather client feedback and insights to continuously improve advertising offerings.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in advertising sales, preferably within digital media or technology sectors.- Strong strategic and analytical skills.- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.- Proficiency in market analysis and sales performance metrics.
Key Metrics:
- Achievement of revenue targets.- Client acquisition and retention rates.- Performance of sales strategies and campaigns.- Budget adherence and cost-effectiveness.- Quality and impact of client relationships.
