The Software Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the engineering team, managing software development projects, and ensuring successful project integration. The manager will also lead daily stand-ups, facilitate team collaboration, review code, and ensure alignment with project goals.Basic Qualifications3+ years of experience managing engineering teams, including performance management and career growth.7+ years of hands-on experience working directly within software engineering teams.3+ years of experience designing or architecting scalable and reliable systems, including applying design patterns to new and existing systems.5+ years of experience leading the definition, development, and delivery of multi-tier web services.Strong knowledge of engineering best practices across the full software/hardware/network development lifecycle, including:Coding standardsCode reviewsSource control managementBuild and release processesTesting and certificationLive-site operationsBachelors of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering, or Information Technology.Preferred QualificationsProven ability to communicate effectively with users, cross-functional technical teams, and senior leadership to:Gather and clarify requirementsDefine software product featuresDescribe technical designs and architectureContribute to long-term product strategyExperience recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and coaching software engineers to improve skills and productivity.Demonstrated success in building high-performance engineering teams and fostering a collaborative culture.Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities with a track record of delivering results under tight deadlines.Familiarity with Agile or other iterative development methodologies.Experience in integration projects or leading cross-team initiatives is a plus.
