Job Summary: The Quality Assurance and Academic Head will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality education across all grade levels. This position combines responsibilities related to quality assurance, curriculum development, and academic leadership. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in educational quality assurance, possess a strategic mindset, and have a passion for fostering academic excellence. They will work at the head office of Amity Education Group in Noida and report directly to the Chairman of the Governing body of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance:
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance processes to ensure the effectiveness and alignment of educational programs with established Harrow standards as well as British Schools overseas and other school ranking organizations
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor the quality of teaching, learning, and student outcomes.
- Curriculum Development and Review:
- Lead the continuous development and review of the school's curriculum to meet the highest educational standards and align with emerging trends in education.
- Collaborate with academic teams to ensure curriculum coherence, relevance, and progressive learning experiences.
- Assessment and Evaluation:
- Design and implement robust assessment strategies to measure student learning outcomes.
- Analyze assessment data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement, and implement data-driven interventions.
- Teacher Professional Development:
- Develop and oversee professional development programs for teaching staff, focusing on instructional quality, pedagogical innovation, and the integration of technology in teaching.
- Academic Leadership:
- Provide visionary leadership in academic affairs, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with school leadership to set academic goals and develop strategies to achieve them.
- Parent and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to gather feedback on academic programs and quality assurance initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with the school community about academic achievements, challenges, and upcoming initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Education or a related field; a doctorate is preferred.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in educational leadership, with a focus on quality assurance, curriculum development, and academic leadership.
- In-depth knowledge of K-12 educational standards, best practices, and assessment methodologies.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in managing and leading teams.
