We are looking for a skilled and passionate Software Engineer with expertise in PHP and Laravel to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 5 years of experience in building high-quality, scalable web applications and a strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

- Develop and Maintain Web Applications: Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to create seamless and user-friendly applications.- Code Optimization and Performance: Write clean, well-documented code and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.- Database Management: Design and manage databases, ensuring data integrity and security.- Troubleshoot and Debug: Identify and resolve complex technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.- Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance your skills and the team’s capabilities.- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and learning-focused environment.

Qualifications

- Experience: 4-5 years of experience in PHP and Laravel development.- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

- Proficient in PHP, with a strong understanding of the Laravel framework.- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Vue.js or React.- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.- Experience with RESTful API development and integration.- Understanding of MVC design patterns.- Knowledge of unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).

Soft Skills:

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.- Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for learning and innovation.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
