Accounting Assistant

Qualifications:

Job Description:

o Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software (QuickBooks Desktop)

o Manage accounts payable: invoice entry, vendor reconciliations, and payment processing.

o Maintain accounts receivable: invoice creation, customer payments tracking, and follow-ups.

o Perform bank and credit card reconciliations for Canadian bank accounts.

o Support month-end closing and financial statement preparation.

o Maintain organized records for audit and compliance purposes.

o Assist in inventory accounting for imported goods and wholesale distribution.

Accounting Executive

Qualifications:

o 2-3 years of experience required

o Prior experience in US/Canada Accounting and QuickBooks (Online /Desktop) is a must

o Salary Range: Up to ₹30,000 per month

Job Description:

o Manage full-cycle accounting: AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end closings.

o Prepare financial statements, profit & loss, and balance sheets for management review.

o Handle Canadian GST/HST filings and liaise with external accountants for compliance.

o Monitor inventory accounting and cost of goods sold (COGS) for imported and wholesale goods.

o Coordinate with Canadian management team for budgeting, forecasting, and MIS reporting.

o Ensure accuracy in inter-company transactions and foreign currency reconciliations.

o Supervise Accounting Assistants and review their work for accuracy.

o Support year-end financial audits and liaise with Canadian auditors if required.

Probation & Salary Structure:

  • Probation Period: 3 months
  • During probation, 15% of monthly salary will be withheld as a security deposit
  • The withheld amount will be released along with the fourth month's salary
  • No other deductions will be made from monthly salary

Incentive Program

  • Rewarding performance beyond fixed pay:

o Monthly Incentive: Up to ₹2,000

o Quarterly Incentive: Up to ₹2,500

o Annual Incentive: Up to ₹5,000

o Diwali cum Stability Bonus: Minimum 50% of monthly salary, up to 100% based on performance

Leave Policy:

  • 12 Paid Leaves annually
  • 10–12 Indian Holidays observed
  • Total leave days: Approximately 22–24 per year

Salary Revision:

  • Annual salary revision upon completing 1 year with the company
  • For Accounting Assistants, salary revision begins after 6 months
  • Increment percentage is performance-based

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15, ₹30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Ahmedabad, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)
