Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and motivated
AI/ML Engineer
with 2+ years of hands-on experience to join our applied machine learning team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in machine learning, deep learning, and data preprocessing, and will be responsible for building, training, evaluating, and deploying ML models across various real-world applications.

You will play a key role in developing intelligent systems that drive our core AI products and solutions, with opportunities to experiment and innovate with state-of-the-art technologies like
transformers, LLMs, computer vision
, and
generative AI
.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and deploy ML models for tasks like classification, regression, recommendation, NLP, computer vision, and time series forecasting.

· Fine-tune pre-trained models (e.g., BERT, GPT, YOLO, CLIP, etc.) for domain-specific applications.

· Apply transfer learning, active learning, and model distillation techniques when needed.

· Work with large volumes of structured and unstructured data to extract features and build high-performing models.

· Perform thorough evaluation using precision, recall, F1, ROC-AUC, etc., and conduct error analysis.

· Deploy models via REST APIs, batch pipelines, or real-time inference systems.

· Collaborate closely with product managers, data engineers, and DevOps teams to take models from experimentation to production.

· Stay updated with current research papers and actively contribute to internal AI knowledge-sharing.

Must-Have Qualifications:

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related technical field.

· 2+ years of practical experience building and deploying ML/DL models.

· Strong programming skills in
Python
and hands-on experience with
ML libraries/frameworks
such as:

o   Scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM

o   TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch

o   HuggingFace Transformers, OpenCV, YOLO, spaCy

· Experience with real-world data handling – cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering.

· Experience working on at least one end-to-end AI/ML project from data to deployment.

· Familiarity with MLOps concepts and tools (e.g., MLflow, DVC, FastAPI, Docker).

Value Addition skills :

· Experience with

· Knowledge of

bias mitigation
techniques.

· Exposure to
cloud ML platforms
(AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI, Azure ML).

· Participation in ML competitions (Kaggle, Zindi) or contributions to open-source ML projects.

· Knowledge of experiment tracking, model versioning, and CI/CD for AI systems.
