About the Position:
The Software Engineer in Test is a highly technical role in Networking Products validation and automation of test cases. The Candidate should be well versed with networking fundamentals, firewall, L2/L3 protocols, EVPN, virtualization technologies, and test frameworks & test automation. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Design quality test plan based on Requirements · Building topology required for testing · Good analytical skills · Execute test cases and create automation scripts. · Provide weekly reports on progress
Experience required : 5-7 Yrs
Job Description
Quick note for Candidates:
1. Engineer should be well versed in, L2, and L3 Protocols
2. API and UI based testing experience will be a plus point.
2. Automation knowledge is a must - Python, Robot
3. Team Player and Multi-tasking ability
Desired Technology Knowledge on:
· Switches, routers and IP Networking Fundamentals.
· Expertise in one of the below technical areas
· Layer 2:
o Datacenter & Switching technologies
o STP,RSTP,MSTP
· Layer 3:
o Routing and routed protocols
o MPLS, LDP, RSVP, L3VPN, L2VPN,EVPN
o OSPF, ISIS, BGP
· Automation is mandatory for all technical areas
o Perl, python, robot
Experience/Qualification:
· BE/BTECH/ME/MTECH from reputed university/college
2+ years of experience in networking products qualification
· Certifications in networking like JNCIA/JNCIS/JNCIP or equivalent will be an added advantage
