Internal Audit:

  • Manage the outsourced third-party audit process, providing clear guidelines and audit scope for Restaurant Reviews, Inventory Verifications, and Support Center audits.
  • Review and analyze third-party audit reports, identifying areas of pass/fail, opportunities for improvement, and potential control weaknesses.
  • Disseminate audit findings and recommendations to relevant management teams, facilitating corrective action plans.
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify areas where internal audits can be strengthened.
  • Plan and schedule audits throughout the year, ensuring all areas are covered on a quarterly basis.

Internal Controls:

  • Manage System Controls, Internal Financial Controls (IFC), and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks.
  • Establish and maintain a robust system for granting access to various systems based on roles and functions.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for identified control weaknesses, recommending and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Proactively identify and address high-level control and process issues across all departments.
  • Collaborate with all departments to ensure effective implementation and ongoing monitoring of internal controls.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Prepare quarterly presentations for the Audit Committee, summarizing audit findings, action plans, and control effectiveness.
  • Obtain necessary approvals from CFO and MD before presenting to external directors.
  • Follow up with auditors and employees on action plan implementation and control improvements.
  • Stay updated on relevant regulations and best practices in internal audit and controls.
