About us:Analytics Information management (AIM) is a global community that is driving data driven transformation across Citi in multiple functions with the objective to create actionable intelligence for our business leaders. We are a fast growing organization working with Citi businesses and functions across the world.What do we offer:Personal Banking & Wealth Data team manages the implementation of best-in-class data quality measurement programs across globe in personal banking and wealth management business and offers enterprise level data management solutions. Currently we are looking for SME’s who can lead data ownership program.Data Owner is responsible forEstablishing and managing data strategies, target state and define data controls throughout data life cycleDefining enterprise level data domains, taxonomy and data classificationDefining data ownership procedures and enforcing data standards.Setting up data usage framework like access controls, usage, sharing and defining purpose of data, data retention guidelinesIdentifying critical data elements and define data ownership (Technical/Business etc)Reviewing data concerns and developing data remediation strategyCertifying data based on fit for purpose and ensuring data meets the data consumer requirements.Ensuring all data is compliance with Global and local laws and regulations as applicable.Guide data stewards in implementation of data governance policies and data operating modelExpertise required:Requirements gathering from Data consumer on data requirements ( specific details - complete, timeliness and accuracy specifications)Define data controls requirementsDocument purpose of the data usage and data sharing agreementsAbility to understand meta data – lineage, definitions and trusted data sourcesAbility to search and consolidate critical data elements information in meta data toolsReview meta data and highlighting gaps in meta dataConsolidating Data Concerns for each use case or projectPerform/Validate root cause analysisDrive remediation strategy and collaborate with technology/ data stewardsTracking KPI’s progress for critical milestonesDocumentation of in scope/out of scope of data requirements for use casesTools and PlatformsProficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint , Visualization toolsDomain SkillsGood understanding ofBanking domain (Cards, Deposit, Loans, Wealth management, & Insurance etc.)Audit FrameworkData quality & Governance frameworkMeta data managementRisk & control Metrics- Knowledge of Finance Regulations, Understanding of Audit ProcessNice to Have Skills:Exposure to BI tools and technologies – example: Tableau or Cognos or SAS BI or Qlikview, etc.Automation and process re-engineering / optimization skillsSoft SkillsAbility to identify, clearly articulate and solve complex business problems and present them to the senior management or partners in a structured and simpler formShould have excellent communication and inter-personal skillsGood process/project management skillsMentoring junior members in the teamDevelop and maintain project management trackers and provide regular updates to managers, senior leadership team and stakeholders.Provide all the support to Data Governance/Data Stewards including Partner / stakeholder management, expectations settings with partners, prioritization of work to team members, and act as Data and functional SME.Ability to work well across multiple functional areasAbility to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentContribute to organizational initiatives in wide ranging areas including competency development, training, organizational building activities etc.Proactive approach in solving problems and eye for detailsA strong team playerEducational and Experience:MBA / Masters Degree in Economics / Information Technology / Computer Applications / Engineering from a premier institute. BTech /

in Information Technology / Information Systems / Computer Applications10 to 12 years of hands on experience in delivering Data Governance solutions, with at least 4 year’s experience in Banking Industry------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group:Decision Management
