Associate Manager II - Taxation Location: BangaloreAbout the TeamThe Taxation team at Navi is responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s tax obligations, ensuring compliance. The team works on tax planning, reporting, and strategy, helping the organization optimize tax efficiency while mitigating risks.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport in various tax projects undertaken by the Tax TeamIdentifying tax optimization opportunities and tax risks in the GroupRegular updates to Management and Business on various direct and indirect tax updates impacting businessDealing with tax authorities and liaising with counselsCoordinate/ Project Management with key stakeholders on tax projectsCoordinating with external consultantsTechnical support and undertaking detailed research on complex tax issuesUndertake tax compliances (TDS, GST, Corporate tax return and tax audits) for the GroupMust HavesCA with 3-4 years of experience in consulting/ industryExpert knowledge and understanding of both direct and indirect taxesExperience in dealing with Tax officersExperience in direct and indirect tax compliancesInternational tax experience desirable (though not mandatory)Good knowledge of accounting standards and Ind ASStrong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for articulating.Strong problem solvingA self starter and proactive individual who can interact with various stakeholders and influence people with no reporting relationshipAbout NaviWe are on a mission to make finance simple, accessible and affordable for a billion Indians.
