As a Software Engineering -Bigdata at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software solutions. Your work will play a critical role in our business offering, your code will deliver value to our customers faster than ever before, and your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be critical in ensuring the success of our products.
Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product. You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it.
As a valued member of our team, you will provide work estimates for assigned development work, and guide features, functional objectives, or technologies being built for interested parties. Required Technical and Professional Experience
• 6+ years of experience big data technologies such as Hadoop, Nifi, Kafka, Elastic Search etc.
•Create data ingestion chain by selecting and integrating Big Data tools and frameworks required to provide requested capabilities.
• Design, implement, and maintain large-scale: Elasticsearch clusters to ensure optimal performance and scalability data flow processes using Apache NiFi to efficiently ingest, transform, and route data.
•Develop and optimize search queries to provide efficient and relevant search results in ELK.
•Configure and tune indexing, shard allocation, and other Elasticsearch settings for optimal resource utilization.
• Configure and optimize NiFi processors, connectors, and controllers to ensure reliable and high-performance data workflows.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
•Experience in configuring and optimize Druid indexing tasks, segments, and queries to ensure high performance and low-latency data access
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their big data services.
•Good to have programming skills in languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for customizing workflows, configurations, automation, API development.
