:We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Engineering Manager who is passionate about Technology and People Management to manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, and networks.As a Senior Manager in the software engineering division, you will have a significant role in determining the product strategy and applying your knowledge of software architecture to manage tasks associated with developing, debugging and designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications in collaboration with geographically diverse product teams. You will also be involved in enhancements within an existing software architecture and responsible for suggesting improvements to the architecture.This is an exciting opportunity to lead a domain area with diverse functional element and frequently interact with Product Managers and technical peer group leads and managers. The successful candidate will have demonstrated leadership and people management skills, including strong communication skills, analytical skills, and thorough understanding of the complete software development life cycle (SDLC).Career Level - M3Responsibilities

:Resolve complex technical issues and make design decisions to meet the critical requirements of scalable, highly available, multi-tenant services in cloud.Provide growth opportunities and support the career development of your team members responsible for the development and quality deliverables.Leading and mentoring development teams and taking responsibility for sprint and release commitments, impediment resolution and escalations, while ensuring clarity around priorities and goals for the entire functional areaInteract with product management, project management and other engineering teams to develop software products which fulfill the requirements generated by the product owner.Provide technical leadership to the team for design, architecture, code reviews and incorporate engineering best practices into feature development, refactoring work, and product maintenance.Determine the staffing required for scrum teams to complete assigned tasks. Ensure all assigned personnel receive the training necessary to successfully complete the tasks which are assigned to them.Responsible for hiring of software engineers for agile development teams.Mentor and train software engineers to increase overall team technical skillsets and stay current with technology trends.Works with team and resolves customer issues as per defined service level agreements.Act as key point of contact for all aspects of product development and coordinating with stakeholders.Responsible for hiring of software engineers for agile development teams.Provide growth opportunities and support the career development of your team members.Qualifications/Skills:Bachelor/master’s degree in computer engineering or equivalent10+ years of software development experience with a proven track record of making technical decisions.5+ years of managing engineers and managers.Familiarity with various software programming techniques and software development tools is a must.Exposure to various programming languages and design patterns with expertise in Java, JavaScript, and SQL.Intimate working understanding of modern web applications from database to browser.Experience in doing the product Estimations and ensures that team completes the initiative on time.Experience in doing the performance evaluations for the reports and assign them the appraisal ratings.Great problem-solving skills and ability to abstract functional requirements.Excellent communicator in both technical and non-technical contexts.Experience designing and improving complex software applications.Experience leading, mentoring, and nurturing talent on a development team.Experience managing team sprint & release commitments, resolving impediments and leading interactions with stakeholders and peer scrum teams.Experienced with Defect management and handling escalations.Prior experience working in agile / Scrum / Kanban environment is a plus.Experience coaching and mentoring developers and managers at various levels of experience.Prior ERP background is an added advantage.Prior people handling experience is an added advantage.Experience in NetSuite and SuiteScript will be an added advantage.
