Job Title: Program Manager/Operations Manager– Center of Excellence (Co E) Location: Kolkata and Coimbatore Department: Training and Operations Reports To: V. P Training and Operations About the Program- The Center of Excellence (Co E) is established under the India AI Mission and the Skill India framework to strengthen India’s national skilling ecosystem in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Emerging Technologies, and the Creative Digital Economy . The Co E aims to equip youth and professionals with future-ready skills in domains such as Prompt Engineering, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Data Annotation, Digital Marketing, Customer Support, GCC roles, UI/UX Design, and Coding , creating a sustainable talent pipeline for India’s digital growth. Key Responsibilities 1. Program Strategy & Implementation- Design, plan, and execute Co E programs in alignment with India AI Mission and Skill India priorities . Develop and manage skilling modules in AI, ML, Data Analytics, Generative AI, Data Annotation, and Creative Economy domains in collaboration with the Academic Excellence team. Ensure curriculum alignment with industry standards and emerging technology trends based on continuous feedback from industry partners and donors. Oversee delivery through blended learning models (online, hybrid, classroom). Drive certification, assessment, and placement activities for program beneficiaries. 2. Partnership & Stakeholder Management- Collaborate with Government officials (Like- MSDE, NSDC etc.) Qualifications & Experience Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Engineering / Management / Computer Science / Education / Data Science or related field. 7–10 years of experience in program management within skill development, education, or technology-led initiatives . Proven experience in managing AI, Data Science, or Digital Economy skilling programs preferred. Familiarity with government-funded or CSR-based projects (India AI, Skill India, NSDC) will be an advantage. Build partnerships with industry leaders, GCCs, startups, and academic institutions to enhance employability outcomes. Liaise with content development partners and technology providers for innovative learning tools. 3. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting- Develop and track KPIs such as enrolments, completions, certifications, and employment outcomes. Implement robust data-driven monitoring systems for impact measurement. Prepare periodic progress reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. 4. Team Leadership- Manage and mentor program coordinators, trainers, and project associates. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration within the Co E. Facilitate capacity-building workshops for trainers and support staff. 5. Innovation & Industry Integration- Introduce AI-driven learning tools, simulation labs, and live projects to enhance learning outcomes. Explore emerging roles in the creative digital economy — such as digital marketing, content creation, customer experience, and UI/UX — for skill-based employment. Ensure seamless transition from skilling to job placement with partner organizations. Qualifications & Experience- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Engineering / Management / Computer Science / Education / Data Science or related field. 7–10 years of experience in program management within skill development, education, or technology-led initiatives . Proven experience in managing AI, Data Science, or Digital Economy skilling programs preferred. Familiarity with CSR-based projects (India AI, Skill India, NSDC) will be an advantage. Skills Required- Program & Project Management Stakeholder & Partnership Management Data-driven Planning & Reporting Knowledge of AI/ML, Data Analytics, and Emerging Tech domains Excellent Communication & Presentation Skills Leadership, Team Coordination & Problem-Solving Key Deliverables- Establish and operationalize the Co E as per India AI & Skill India standards. Deliver industry-aligned skilling programs across identified modules. Achieve certification, placement, and impact targets. Build sustainable academic and industry collaborations. Maintain compliance, documentation, and quality assurance across all Co E initiatives.
