TCS is looking for Mainframe Developer.

Experience: 5 - 10 Years

Education: Minimum 15 years of full-time education (10th, 12th and Graduation)

Location: Kochi


Requirements & Skills:

  • Extensive working experience in Cobol Development and Maintenance.
  • Database : DB2/SQL Server (Optional - IMS).
  • Control - M
  • Concepts : Checkpoint restart (DB2/IMS), GSAM file processing
  • MicroFocus development
  • Good Knowledge on batch scheduler and batch flow processing (preferred - Control-M scheduler).
  • Worked in online transaction flow, performed debug and analysis of abends to find root cause
  • Able to troubleshoot issues, perform deep dive analyses on the call flow across multiple Cobol programs, perform development/code corrections and test/debug COBOL programs.
  • Must have worked in Agile/Scrum model.
  • Good communication and analytical capabilities.
