Must Have Skills :: Data Engineer, Apache Spark, Scala Role Summary: We're seeking a seasoned Senior Data Engineer to architect, build, and optimize our mission-critical data ingestion and processing pipelines. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies at massive scale, designing resilient systems that process hundreds of concurrent Spark jobs across our AWS EKS infrastructure. Required Technical Skills(Must have): 5+ years hands-on experience with Apache Spark (Scala API) at production scale Expert-level Scala programming with functional programming paradigms Apache Kafka expertise: producers, consumers, stream processing, and ops Advanced SQL skills including complex analytical queries and optimization Production experience with Parquet and Avro formats, schema design, and evolution Hands-on experience with Avro Bean generation and serialization frameworks Stream processing and real-time data architectures Hands on experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting large-scale data systems.
