• ~8 years’ experience in the MFG domain
• Experience working with Biz SMEs in MFG
• Significant experience implementing enterprise level SAP S4 solutions with Material Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Inventory Management (IM) and Warehouse Management modules (WM).
• Understands SAP S4 best-practices, business processes, operational procedures and inter-relationships between SAP modules.
• Experience with Order BOMs with product variant configurations (configure-to-order and engineer-to-order)
• Knowledge / experience in analyzing differences between Engineering BOMs and Order (production) BOMs
• Experienced with data management, data flows and downstream use of master data
• Skilled in strong analytical and problem-solving techniques.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) at various levels (Executives, Architects, peers and technical team)
• Experience with MFG processes – Bay builds, Pulse builds, Lean line builds (Kanban)
• Demonstrated knowledge of functional integrations between SAP S4 ERP, and PLM (specifically Siemens Team Center) and MES (specifically Siemens Op Center) systems.
• Demonstrated ability as “functional lead” leading a team of BSAs
• Ability to take high-level directions and translating them into executable actions for self and the team of BSAs the individual will lead
• Ability to manage escalations and resolve issues quickly
• Demonstrated ability to define, document, review with business, solution options with associated pros / cons.
• Demonstrated ability to document functional processes (e.g., with Visio or Mind Mapping tools)
• Demonstrated ability to analyze business requirements and create detailed functional specifications taking business process and requirements into consideration.
• Experience translating functional specs / design to the technical team.
• Experience driving and leading testing (BSA functional and integration tests) and UATs working with Biz SMEs
• Fast learner of new technologies, processes – specifically MFG-specific tools and processes
• Must have Knowledge of EBOM, Planning BOM, MBOM, Engineering Change (ECR, ECO) and Production Orders
• Knowledge of SAP ABAP and FIORI
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, hardware/software lifecycles, ERP solutions, ERP development environments/tools
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) management best practices
