Job Description
We are seeking an experienced
Azure Data Engineer
to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing and implementing data solutions on Microsoft Azure, with hands-on experience in data pipelines, data modeling, and real-time data streaming. Experience with
Microsoft Fabric
and
Event Hub
is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes on Azure.
  • Work with Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, and other Azure data services.
  • Develop and maintain data integration and transformation workflows.
  • Implement real-time streaming and event-driven data solutions using Event Hub.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.
  • Optimize data storage, retrieval, and performance across large datasets.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are followed.
  • Explore and leverage Microsoft Fabric capabilities to enhance analytics and data management.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with focus on Azure cloud ecosystem.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Synapse Analytics.
  • Experience in building and managing ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Proficiency in SQL, PySpark, or other scripting languages for data processing.
  • Good understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with Event Hub or similar event streaming platforms.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Fabric is a plus.

Good To Have

  • Experience with Power BI integration for analytics.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data solutions.
  • Knowledge of cloud cost optimization and performance tuning.
