Job Description :


Our client is a reputed tax advisory firm with presence in India, UAE and Singapore and with plans to expand its global footprints further. They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technology Head to join their team. The successful candidate will report to firm's COO and will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the firm's information security program, managing employee technology, and ensuring the integrity and availability of their technology infrastructure. Additionally, the role includes leading the roll-out of new software applications, with knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) being a plus.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Information Security Management :

- Develop, implement, and maintain the firm's information security policies, procedures, and protocols.

- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures.

- Monitor and analyze security alerts and reports to ensure timely incident response and resolution.

- Stay current with emerging security threats, trends, and technologies to ensure the firm's security measures are up-to-date and effective.

2. Employee Technology Management :

- Oversee the provisioning, deployment, and maintenance of employee technology, including computers, mobile devices, and software.

- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on security best practices and technology usage.

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to employees as needed.

- Ensure compliance with firm policies and legal regulations regarding data protection and technology usage.

3. Technology Infrastructure Management :

- Manage and maintain the firm's technology infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services.

- Ensure high availability and reliability of all technology systems and services.

- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to procure and maintain hardware and software.

- Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery plans to safeguard the firm's data and technology assets.

4. Software Applications Rollout :

- Lead the roll-out of new software applications, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure.

- Evaluate and recommend new software solutions to enhance operational efficiency and security.

- Work closely with departments to understand their software needs and provide tailored solutions.

- Develop and execute project plans for software implementation, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

5. Artificial Intelligence Integration :

- Explore opportunities for integrating AI technologies to improve security and operational processes.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify AI-driven solutions that can enhance the firm's capabilities.

- Stay informed about the latest AI trends and advancements to recommend relevant applications.

Qualifications and Skills :

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in information technology and IT management.

- Strong knowledge of information security principles, practices, and technologies.

- Experience with security risk assessment and management, incident response, and security auditing.

- Proficiency in managing technology infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services.

- Experience in rolling out new software applications and managing implementation projects.

- Knowledge of artificial intelligence technologies and their applications.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and support employees.

- Person who is currently managing the entire in-house IT landscape for a service organization will be preferred.
