Resource Coordinator

We are looking for a Resource co-ordinator to join Jellyfish Pictures team in our Mumbai studio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of resource allocation and planning, ensuring that our team is fully utilized, and projects are completed on time. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with both internal teams and external clients.

  • Manage the allocation of resources, including artists, hardware, and software, to ensure that all projects are staffed appropriately.
  • Create and maintain a resource planning schedule that includes current and future projects, artist availability, and production deadlines.
  • Collaborate with department supervisors to identify resource needs and ensure that team members are working on the right projects.
  • Work closely with the Production Manager to understand project timelines and ensure that resources are allocated accordingly.
  • Monitor resource utilization and identify areas where improvements can be made to maximize efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of resource allocation and utilization and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Ensure that all artists have the necessary hardware and software to complete their work, and coordinate with IT to resolve any issues.
  • Work closely with the HR team to ensure that all artists are properly trained and developed, and that performance reviews are conducted regularly.
  • Act as a point of contact for external clients, providing regular updates on project progress and resource allocation

Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in resource management, preferably in a VFX or animation studio.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience managing teams and working with external clients.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of VFX and animation production pipelines and software. 8. Proficient in project management software and tools like Shotgrid.
