Description of business : Management of a small team of Diagnostics Procedure engineers. Delivery of dealer diagnostic content for Ford & JV (including Lincoln and joint ventures) vehicle programs globally. Ideal Candidate : The ideal candidate is one which has a vehicle repair background on both mechanical and electronic vehicle systems plus is proficient with using a computer and has experience with software languages and have authored ISIP (Technical Publications) documents. The candidate would create logical steps to lead technicians to identify reasons for failures on vehicles. The candidate must also have Team Leader experience and experience in tutoring and bringing on junior team members. They must also have good organizational, planning and verbal communications skills (to interact with USA and UK based teams). Familiar with vehicle electronics architectures and functionality, specifically in the ford environment. Familiar with vehicle mechanical architectures and functionality. Familiar with software editors. Experience with Arbotex or Xmetal ISIP Editor desired. Strong problem solving skills. Experience using 5/8D philosophy. Clear written and strong verbal communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Word). Understanding of vehicle communications protocols (CAN, ISO14229, SAE2534 . Ideally hands on experience servicing or repairing vehicles or similar products. Able to read, write and speak English as a minimum. Good team player but also ability to focus and work alone to meet deadlines. undefined
