Patent Illustrator

OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB:This is a patent illustrator role for the IP vertical. This role is preparing illustrations for the patent applications.REQUIREMENTS:Graduate in any stream. Mechanical background will be preferred.1 year+ experience as IllustratorExperience in AutoCAD, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, and CorelDrawWell versed with USPTO guidelines. EP, India (optional)Good standard of English language proficiency, both written and oralGood communication skillsAble to prepare complex mechanical drawingsAble to work collectively and constructively with patent drafting teamDetail-oriented with excellent judgment and analytical skillsAbility to work collaboratively with onsite and/or virtual global teamsJOB DESCRIPTION:Should be able to create high-quality illustrations in compliance with client instructions and patent office guidelines (USPTO mandatory; EP, IN, and others optional)Understanding invention disclosures (including drawings, STEP files) and preparing figures, in coordination with patent drafting teamManaging timely reporting of the required deliverables (TAT management)Able to plan, sequence & execute various projects at hand with minimum guidance
