About the Role We are hiring an ETL & Tableau Data Engineer  for a full-time, permanent remote role. This role requires strong expertise in both ETL and Tableau  to ensure seamless, end-to-end data operations. You will build scalable pipelines, optimize SQL queries, prepare Tableau-ready datasets, and maintain the overall health of our data ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes  across multiple data sources Build, optimize, and tune complex SQL queries  for analytics, reporting, and dashboard performance Develop and maintain data warehouse solutions , ensuring accuracy and consistency Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to ensure data readiness for Tableau dashboards Support Tableau backend needs including data modeling, extracts, joins, and performance optimization Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and ETL issues  for uninterrupted data flow Implement data governance standards, documentation practices , and data security protocols Requirements Strong experience in ETL development, data pipelines, and data warehousing Advanced SQL  skills Hands-on knowledge of Tableau data architecture , including extracts, sources, joins, and performance tuning Experience with integration tools (Talend, Informatica, Apache Airflow, etc.) Experience with cloud data platforms (Redshift, Big Query, Snowflake) — bonus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to join within 2 weeks  Nice to Have Ability to provide light Tableau troubleshooting support for visualization teams Familiarity with the German language  is a bonus but not mandatory
